Since you told me some ideas you had I can assume it has somthing to do with Elizas story.
 
well for one there's the time traveling plot you had where Eliza wins. But I feel like most of act 2 will be in Elizas palace.

No audio at all in game no sounds no nothing.

also player spawns in the cathedral in new game.
 
If you are afraid of spoiling who's going to join your party....well its based off a fighting game I think we can assume who will/will not join the party.

There's a couple that won't join...
Also the static images are a call back to old RPGs (main FF) on the Super nes

Also we have custom art for a good amount of the enemies as well.

Though I have considered the over-world sprites for while (mainly cause they animate) they would break the art theme of all the other enemies and then they would look weird

I'll definitely give the over world sprites for opponents (All not just the playable characters, so that it doesn't look weird and out of place) another look!

Would anyone else like this idea as well, or do you like the more static images of old?
 
Why not both? Have them for regular characters so we don't have attack of the 50 ft Squigly but keep the medici sprites, skeleton sprites etc.

Are you guys ready for some MASSIVE CHANGES to the game! Ranging to almost every aspect of the game!
Get hyped for the stream tonight as I'm gonna start experimenting with things that will change may things in the game.
And after the stream there will be a new demo with all the stream changes.

The stream will focus on development of the game, so get hyped!

Alright so Ladies and Gentlemen if you could add a mechanic in the Battle system or anything that effects battling what would you want?
<Examples like>
I want more exp
I want fights to be easier/harder
I want battles to be like Fire Emblem
I want battles to be like Disgaea/FF Tactics
I want Summons (other non playable characters to join the fight!) <Example: Ms. Fortune calling in Minette or Yu-Wan>
I want a Stamina system
I want usable attacking items
More battle items in general
I want Dragon Quest type battles
I want Transformations
I like everything the way it is.
Etc...

I don't want to impact your grade negatively keep in mind spots are open at all times, (I want to make sure you do well on finals as they are VERY soon, though if you think you can handle it you can join us)
that being said is there any work of yours I can see? If not can I talk with you on skype and learn exactly what you want?

Disgaea? OF COURSE! (Or Fire Emblem (Pre-Awakening if possible) if that gets out voted :()

EDIT: In seriousness, I think its great as is. I think you could add a bit of complexity by giving each character more uniqueness then just their stats and moves. Maybe some mechanics unique to said character, like Squigly spending turns building charges that let her do more powerful attacks for no meter. Stuff like that. Iunno.
 
I'm willing to come back and work as a re-mapper (or what ever the project needs). If you are willing to have me back on the team I would be more then happy to get back to work.
 
Hey, guys. I'm not super invested in this project (Though I will almost certainly play it once it's done), but Funky kindly let me borrow some sprites for a school project of mine, and while I was using them, I couldn't help but notice some oddities in the way the sprites animated. So I made a few touch-ups, and I thought I'd drop off what I made:

I got rid of the odd, elfish ears that were sticking out in her front view, and made her hair asymmetrical. I know Parasoul's sprites flip the eye the hair is on in-game, but that was just for ease of animation; when the frame count is this low, we can easily make the hair asymmetrical.
I also considered making her eyes a bit brighter, but I decided they matched the picture well enough.
 
So what happened to this project did Funky kinda skip town? There's been no updates for a while.
